Whitetail Rifle Hunting

This is a unique hunt as we it is a horse pack hunt into the back country for trophy Whitetail Deer. The whitetail average is around 130 B&C with 180 class bucks taken. This area is regarded as one of the top trophy spots in Idaho where many record book bucks have come from. We have 100% harvest rate on these hunts. The hunt occurs during the rut and provides lots of shooting opportunities. Still hunting is the preferred method. We have the traditional back country camp and the hunt is done by horse back Lodging in the Historic Gilmore Ranch and 20 Mile camp with a traditional tent camp setting. There is little to no other hunting pressure in either of these areas. We pack into camp and have the opportunity to hunt clear cut areas that were cut in the past three years. This make for some excellent shooting opportunities for our hunters. We also will be offering whitetail hunts out of the luxurious Whitebird Summit lodge and drive the hunters to other hunting areas. Depending upon weather we will decide which area these hunts take place within our 325 square miles. Hunting will be spot and stalk, still hunting and stand hunting. Fully guided hunts for trophy white tail and unguided combination drop camps for elk, deer and bear.
