Hunt Bear

Loc-Key U Outfitters always asks what method you’d like to use to harvest your bear,  because we offer several different hunting methods including; 

• over-bait hunting, both backcountry and out of our lodge on the Salmon River;
• spot and stalk; and last, but definitely not least,
• hound hunting.

As you can see, it completely depends on how you want to take your bear as well as your own personal conditioning and endurance.   We’ve got the bear hunt to fit whatever adventures you deem appropriate for yourself and / or your group.

If you are looking to see many different bears, we recommend over-bait hunts. If you are looking to stretch your barrel, we recommend spot and stalk. If you are looking for a chase that ends with you standing a few yards from a bruin, run with the hounds!

All of these bear hunt options can be performed with  archery hunting,  if that is what your preferred weapon might be.  As we’ve said, “It’s your hunt!   Lets make it fit your dream adventure of a lifetime!”
